The Tomatis Method in Pregnancy

The Tomatis ® method helps expectant mothers not to suffer from anxiety, nightmares and depressive emotions, to have back pain, to walk easier, to have mental well-being, to have a fetus calm in their abdomen, to change their dynamics. uterus with enhanced function, reduced birth time, baby born with proper weight and more easily adapted to new surroundings, mothers do not experience stress upon returning home, more easily bonded with baby.

During pregnancy, the sounds reach the uterus, not isolated from the placenta. The tone of the voice, the rhythm, the music approach the fetus.

The mother's voice is transmitted to the womb directly, through its own body, which is transformed into a conduit (bone conduction). The fetus responds to sounds at approximately 16 weeks. The embryo, however safe it is in the womb, adopts parental perceptions and its behavior is programmed accordingly, e.g. he understands the anger, anxiety, tension of his mother and her environment.

The expectant mother should remain calm and serene throughout her pregnancy so that the messages the fetus receives are in harmony, which will work positively in her post-natal development.
